Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Gilded Dial, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia (WA), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, movement caliber specifications, water resistance ratings, case dimensions, and pricing. Independent Watch Brand Notice: Gilded Dial is an independent horological retailer and brand. Gilded Dial is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Tissot, TAG Heuer, or Patek Philippe. Any comparative references are made strictly for functional specification, movement caliber architecture, and dimensional compatibility. Gilded Dial reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Mechanical Movement Care, Magnetic Exposure & Water Resistance Disclaimer

Mechanical Movement Tolerance: Automatic mechanical movements rely on mainspring kinetic winding and balance wheel escapements; slight daily variances (+/- 15 to 25 seconds per day) are standard mechanical characteristics and do not constitute manufacturing defects. Keep mechanical watches away from strong magnetic fields (such as induction cooktops, laptop speakers, or magnetic phone mounts) to prevent magnetization. Water Resistance Scope: Water resistance ratings (e.g., 5ATM, 10ATM) refer to static laboratory pressure. Never operate the crown or chronograph pushers while submerged. Do not wear watches in hot showers, saunas, or hot tubs, as thermal expansion can compromise rubber waterproof gaskets. Gilded Dial is not liable for water ingress resulting from unthreaded screw-down crowns or thermal seal degradation.
